Beginning a few weeks ago
we started to have a lot of problems between players.
I realize when you get a
room full of people that not everyone is going to love each other and there
will be an occasional outburst. This is normal and to be expected. But lately I
think it's getting out of hand.
We have had 15-20 players
that have played well together for many months.
We are not going to lose
players because a few can't get along with the group as a whole.
I expect every player to
be courteous and respectful to every other player. And most of all be a good
sport.
THINGS THAT WILL NOT BE
TOLORATED:
1. Getting angry and
upsetting another player.
2. Getting upset about how
someone else plays their cards.
3. Constant bitching.
4. Giving the dealer a
hard time.
5. Any type of collusion
(multiple players playing as a team)
Starting tonight each
table dealer will have the option to fine a player up to a 1000 chip.
I've never had to ask
anyone to leave but I will start passing out pink slips if the problems
continue. I can be a real SOB if need be. Just ask one of my kids.
Our Thursday night poker
is going to stay a fun and friendly game whatever it takes.
If you take a bad beat.
Nobody wants to hear a bunch of bitching. That's just poker. You can't take
luck out of the game. I don't consider saying something like "Oh
Shit" bitching. But contant complaining ruins the fun.
I don't expect everyone to
sit around like a wall flower and not say anything. That would be pretty
boring.
Joking and kidding around
has always been part of the fun. But were players start getting truely angry
and bad mouthing each other that makes a lot of players uncomfortable and wish
they weren't even in the room.
