In 2010 we will keep better track of Total Knock Outs for a Knock Out King or Queen Award.
In 2009 we only kept track of the bounties cashed in and added the number and amount to a players standings. This has never been an accurate number of knock outs or money won from bounties.
This year when a player re-buys and still has a bounty (which means they knocked out a player) will get one knock out point above the number of bounties they cash in. Except 1st place who will get one number less and $5 less added to their standings. This is because 1st place will always be cashing in one bounty they didn't win. When players decide to crop a pot the player with the most chips will get the knock out point and $5 less added to their standings. Players who don't buy a bounty need to tell the score keeper when they knock out a player. And players who knock out a player with no bounty need to tell the score keeper. Of course players will cash in bounties as usual when knocked out.

Bounty winnings can make a big difference in player standings. So be sure your knock outs and the number of bounty buttons cashed in are written down on the work sheet correctly.

Also starting in 2010 we are going to do the Bad Beat Pot a little different so players who help fund the pot by entering the drawing more often will be eligible to win a higher percentage of the pot. So read the Revised Rules so you understand the changes.
